Let's see.. things I've done recently..
His parents came down, brought us great furniture. We put up a bed and now have a spare bedroom w/ new mattress and boxsprings. We have living room furniture 2 chairs, (via his folks) and a new couch via Kate 8)..
It's nice how things come together. 8)
I'm still going to the gym, just about a daily basis. Still doing yoga and pilates.. trainer too.. 8) so that's working out well.. my gym buddy is the best she's very understanding and a good work out partner..
Work is going great..
this last weekend I was flown to ft lauderdale, (right outside of miami) for our work's 20th anniversary party... so I was able to meet everyone and play on the beach.. it was just sorta crowded because of spring break but very, very pretty. I am burnt though, and well already starting to peel.. oh well, it's the lamentings of being a natural red head.. LOL
Last night I picked up the stuff so that we can drop goody bags off to our clients tomorrow and friday for st pattie's day.. that should be fun..
anyhoo..
that's what i've been doing so far, next weekend his brother and sisterlaw will be in town.. so that'll be a fun weekend, they're great to hang out with.
I'm debating having a fondue party this weekend, but I have to check on the cash reserves.. LOL If i can't do it this weekend, I'll see about doing it the weekend after his family visits. 8)
I'm overall really happy with my job and how things are going right now.. I hope everyone else is too..

Things as of late

Things have been pretty good lately.
I've been going to the gym on a regular basis, every day actually. 8)
Lifting weights, cardio and yoga and pilates classes.. 1 pilates class a week, they're soooo tough and yoga 4 times a week. I really like it. My work out partner is the best, she really pushes me and working out is a real concern to her, so we really focus in on it when we are at the gym.
We've been working on finishing the closet, it's taken much longer than anticipated. It's finally finished. I will post a picture of it. seems odd i know but hey, you spend a grand on something and you'll want to take pictures of it too.. LOL
it's painted and with a very nice wood organizer set inside it.
Mort and i had our 6 year anniversary and it was very nice, we went to my favorite place to eat and it was great.
Valentines was fun too, we went and had sushi.. i've gotten fond of sushi.. who knew??
I received great presents! jewelry...he's getting better at this.. LOL! he liked his presents too.. still wasn't THE ring but it is ok, i was given amethyst ring and earrings.. very pretty!!
we have gotten a joint account together and are working on paying off the bills, i know where our money goes.. next will be THE ring.. LOL (well actually paying off our debt but that's cool! i'm working towards that)
so everything is pretty good with me..
job is going great. i love my job..i work long hours and here lots, i work about 50 hours a week but it's worth it and will pay off.. 8)
i'm already going to florida for my job in march, that should be fun. it's our companies party (20 years)
mort's parents are coming up this weekend, bringing us some furniture. it'll be nice to see them and have them see the house.
